French Bulldog takes top spot in Non-Sporting Group

Mathew, the French Bulldog, took home first place in the Non-Sporting Group and advanced to the final night of judging.

French Bulldogs were the second most popular breed registered with the American Kennel Club in 2020. Many people coped with the pandemic year, in part, by welcoming a dog into their home.  Frenchies have gone from ranking 18th on the AKC most popular breed list to 2nd place in 2020.

French bulldogs are one step closer to becoming top dog in the US puppy popularity contest.
